Not a great experience

Unfortunately this year our identity was stolen and when we went to e-file, our return was rejected as our tax ID number had already been fraudulently used by someone else. Figuring out what to do, how to handle it, how to be safe... was not helped by this program. In fact, it kept acting as if we had successfully e-filed. It tried to get us to increase our refund by accepting Amazon gift cards, only to then tell us we weren't eligible because we "chose" to file by paper. Every time I tried to open it separated by a few weeks of misery, it would try to update itself, run a virus scan, stall out, ask me to register (again), and otherwise irritate me a lot. At one point it lost my file altogether and I had to search it down. It helpfully offered to start over from scratch (not helpful). So, as long as there is nothing tricky and no curve balls in your life, enjoy. Otherwise get an accountant or use only program to avoid this nonsense.
What's great about it: Straight-forward interface and interview, confidence it is correct
What's not so great: When something goes wrong, look out.

I have used this program for multiple years without a single problem. It makes the complex forms easy and I highly recommend it to you.
I appreciate the ability to bring forward the prior year info when activating the current tax program.
I also like that I can prepare the forms for each of my family members who must also file a return.
I cannot say enough good about it because it has allowed me to not ever receive a letter from the IRS with questions or corrections and that is worth a great deal to me. Then if you also purchase their post-filing help, you should sleep well at night.
What's great about it: easy, accurate complete, trustworth
What's not so great: Lots of questions for the state program that it does not cover
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax is great. It is convenient and safe. I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Get your taxes filed quick e-file or by mail.
What's great about it: Quick, Convenient, Dependable
What's not so great: I can't ask questions when I don't understand something

A Life Saver!!

Year after year the mere THOUGHT of doing my taxes filled me with dread and fear. I had YEARS of unfiled returns. My accounting friend had to LITERALLY stage an intervention.
She also introduced me to using Turbo Tax. Now I do my taxes myself. I get all my deductions and I never owe.
My nightmares are over !!
What's great about it: Quck and Easy to Use !!
What's not so great: (There aren't any !!)

Makes doing your own taxes much easier

I thought that with this year's change in my husband's status to retired mid-year would make doing my taxes more difficult. But the Turbo Tax helped me by making the questions easy to answer. I'm glad to be using Turbo Tax for another year!

Great Software

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 8 years and they have the simplest software to use. Everything is put in it's place and you can review it at any time. The electronic filling is so simple and you can print your return right away
