So easy and fast

Well, if you are not using Turbo Tax, you are wasting your time. Doesn't matter if you are a basic filer or complex, the checks and balances of this software make sure you are doing your filing correctly. So worth the price.
What's great about it: Well laid out and easy to follow

I would recommend this product for anyone. Has made tax day if not a pleasure - not a nightmare.
What's great about it: Guides you through the tangle of regulations with ease.
What's not so great: Sometimes help information not deep enough.

Good to go...

I have been using TurboTax since they first came out. It has always been easier than going through and try to figure out the tax work sheets and whether you are eligible to take this or that deduction.
This year, the only difference I came up against was I got two different amounts as to what I had to pay. I used the same info I had the first time but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
My only thought now is what changed?
It never hurts to go over figures and what you input into program to make sure you get what you are entitled to.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax is one of the easiest ways to do the drudgery of filing income taxes.
What's not so great: Changed my mind from sending by mail to efile. Got a deifferent refund amount with changing my mind...

This is my fourth year using Turbo Tax and I think it is terrific. It is not too expensive and very intuitive as to deductions and income. It failed to properly file my Colorado state return electronically last year (2014) so I did not use that feature this year and will be mailing it in separately. I don't know if the flaws were corrected or not so I won't be chancing it. It did prepare the state return correctly but the state said they needed verification of state withholding which Turbo Tax did not provide with the e-file.
Otherwise it is a great product and well worth the purchase price.

Very Good Experience

I made the mistake of buying the downloadable software this time. Usually I just do it online. I (wrongly) assumed that no matter how I purchased the software (or what I thought was the right to use it) I could use it online. But no. I had to do it using the downloaded version. Don't get me wrong, it works fine, but I've filed with TurboTax for about 10 years. All my other years are online. But now this one will not be there.
If you don't care about that, then I have no other issues. TurboTax is easy and quick.

Veteran Turbo Taxer

I recommended this tax program to my sons several years ago. They had me do their taxes for several years. The last time, I suggested that they get the software and do their own returns. They have been doing that ever since. (Guess mom has a good suggestion once in a while! :)
Thank you for providing such a good tool for those of us who do not have complicated returns. It is very appreciated.
What's great about it: I like the way the program steps you through each area if you wish to do so.
What's not so great: I would like to see an update each year rather than have to buy the whole program each time.
