Tax filing made easy

I have been using Turbo Tax every year since 1998. I have progressed from 1040EZ filing to fully itemized filing over the years as my situation changed. I probably represent a normal middle class household from a taxation perspective and find the software simple and easy to use. I don't have any highly complex tax situations, but I even used the software to file Federal and multi-state returns in a year that I had relocation expenses to account for. The software performed exactly as expected, simple and easy, and it caught a few items I did not realize I could write off..... I can't think of one single reason today that would prevent me from continuing to trust that Turbo Tax will meet every requirement in my tax filing.
What's great about it: Simple, quick, accurate, capabilities and ease of use improve year after year
What's not so great: I don't really see any cons. I have not had an issue in 18 years of using Turbo Tax.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good Job !!!

Many people want me to use Turbo Tax on their returns and most of them want E-file. But since the limit is 5 for the Turbo Tax Deluxe, many people get turned off when I tell them I have already reached that limit. This tactic does not make people go out and purchase their own Turbo Tax. They go pay too much money to other tax preparers because they want and need their money. By the way, I do not charge any fees for helping people prepare and file their returns.
What's great about it: Very detailed. Enough time to gather information.
What's not so great: Need to increase how many E-files can be done with Turbo Tax Deluce.

Smooth Return

I have been using TurboTax for several years. Each year seems to be a bit easier to complete than the last. It guides you through all the needed information and makes the tax filing process less intimidating.
What's great about it: Quick, easy to understand, and leads you to proper entries
What's not so great: No real complaints that I have

The "nickname" on this review was very picky, had to go through about 8 different forms of my name before it let me use it. Said someone else already used that nickname.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax does the math for you and knows exactly where to fill in the amounts.
What's not so great: Some repeating of names, ss#, etc, hopefully it can be shortended in the future.

Only one oar!

I am a newbie to e-filing. This computer tax filing made it a difficult job. I think after several times through the system I have a workable tax return with all needed information. I'll most likely use TURBO-TAX next year.
What's great about it: Accurate
What's not so great: A greater learning curve than I like. Difficult to go back into forms to edit entries.

WISH I COULD HAVE USED E-FILE BUT IT DID NOT WORK

THOUGHT IT WOULD GO SMOOTHLY BUT COULD NOT PULL IN THE 2014 INFO ON MY MAC. ALSO I HAD THE E-FILE REJECTED BY IRS BECAUSE IT COULD NOT I.D. ME FROM MY PIN OR 2014 ADJ INCOME. I TRIED TO GET A NEW PIN BUT SECURITY ISSUES WOULD NOT ALLOW. SO I MAILED IT IN.
What's great about it: MY TAXES WENT SMOOTHLY BUT DID NOT PULL IN LAST YEAR
What's not so great: E-FILE FAILED - COULD NOT GET THRU THE SECURITY FOR I.D.
