Only issue is with It's Deductible app. Items list in all areas needs to be updated. Missing numerous items in all categories that are current to today's style of living.
What's great about it: very easy to navigate
What's not so great: It's Deductible needs major update
Pros: I moved

good software but you still need to feel good abou

I like turbo tax and have been using it for many years. If you are uncomfortable with math and forms it can be intimidating. You really could do it, but you need to be confident that you have all your forms and know all your deductions. If you are not comfortable with computers and math I dont recommend it. but if you kow how to learn new software and feel good about your general knowledge of math and your tax situation you could use it. I love doing taxes just hate paying them.
What's great about it: accurate math
What's not so great: may not know what you need

Social Security Income
on February 10, 2016

Last year, TurboTax had no problem e-filing a return showing only Social Security income (not taxable). This year, TurboTax refused the e-file option. I think the programmers chose a value that was "greater than zero" for the AJI line. They can just as easily choose a value of : "=0 or greater". Please ask your programming staff to adjust this for next year. Thank you!!
Just because I am elderly does not mean that I never need a validly filed tax return to verify my income.
What's great about it: Still easy to enter all of my information
What's not so great: E-File Unavailable

What's great about it: Like the way it put the info in the correct places on the forms.
What's not so great: Did not know how to get out of printing mode after I printed.

I used both the online and the DVD. The DVD is much easier to use and it showed my previous years data.
