I love Turbo Tax! I have used it for years and will continue to do so!
What's great about it: Easy, makes sure you get your biggest refund.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall Good and easy to fill out

As a CSRS federal retiree, the RMD portions were total "greek" to me. Had to get answer from Turbotax, which helped get it right, but never clarified.
What's great about it: Way it is set up to fill out information

Very Good Software

TurboTax is consistently easy to use and makes doing your own taxes a breeze. I actually look forward to it every year, because the software allows me to work on my taxes a little at a time, in manageable chunks. Kudos to Intuit for giving the interface a human touch, with friendly reminders and a pleasant dialog throughout. I recommend it. The only cons are: an unclear privacy policy (does Intuit store my personal financial and medical information? I hope not); incorrect advice about e-filing if you are also filing Form W7 (the software allows you to e-file, but IRS instructions specifically instruct you NOT to e-file if you use Form W7); and it is still somewhat hard to jump back and forth between sections of the software. It's always been a little hard to do this. But it would be great if Intuit created a graphic map showing where you are in your progress preparing your return, and allowed you to click on locations within the map to start a new section, or review / revise a section you had already worked on. Still, I'd give the software a solid "A"; (A+ if they create a navigational map & make their privacy policy very obvious and very clear, e.g. not lengthy, not buried under a hyperlink, and with a short bullet-points summary). Thanks Intuit for making it easy. :)

Getting longer to do taxes many more questions

Overall it went ok but it is growing, it takes twice as long for me to complete.
What's great about it: By going into forms right away I saved time entering data
What's not so great: Do not see need to give drivers license numbers

So easy

Is so easy, even a politician can use it and get it right. The questions and answer method makes sure we receive all credits to which we are entitled.
Tax time is no longer the stressful job of yesterday thanks to TurboTax. Now, we actually look forward to filing our returns and get on with life.

GOOD PRODUCT

NO PROBLEMS ONCE EVERYTHING GOT LOADED INTO MY COMPUTER. THE TIME IT TAKES TO LOAD SEEMS LONGER THAT IT REALLY TOOK.
