Turbo made my refund lightning fast!

Turbo Tax made filing my returns easier than ever before! All of the input information was already entered from last year's filing and that made it super efficient. Every single area of deductions provided quick and easy explanations and recommendations when needed. Each year the recommendations have proven to be the most beneficial and accurate way of filing to maximize my refund amount!
What's great about it: Auto filled in data from the previous year making it super easy and fast!
What's not so great: Absolutely nothing I didn't like.

I did a return by hand and thought I would owe money to the IRS but using this product I am getting back a big refund. It was really worth the purchase price.
What's great about it: fast, and easy

It worked the way the software said it would the only problem was it said free state and Federal I had free federal but not state but otherwise it was really easy cant complain beats paying someone else and losing more money

What's not so great: said free federal and state did not get free state

Life Saver

When I was a young adult my father used to do my taxes for me. A few years later he started using TurboTax (when it first came out) and still did my taxes for me for a few years. I'm sure he would have continued doing it but I figured I would start purchasing TurboTax on my own and then he could just review it for me to make sure I didn't screw up.
I have been using TurboTax for over ten years at this point and am truly grateful such software exists in my lifetime. I'm a simple person who just wants to work, pay bills, and be a husband/father. TurboTax makes it easy for me to complete my tax return and process my refund.
My only gripe is that there is no license key associated with the CD/DVD purchase. I know you can download a copy, but I tend to purchase the CD/DVD well ahead of all my documents coming in the mail. Every year I forget that I don't have a CD-ROM on my current PCs and that there is no license key... and my receipt (proof of purchase# is usually in the trash or buried deep in the labrynth of my wife's purse. Yes, I am aware that it says 'CD/DVD-ROM required' on the back, but seriously it's 2016!!! The last two years I have had to dredge up an old XP laptop and copy the CD/DVD to a thumb-drive. Not a huge deal except that laptop is like a brick and the battery is dead so I have to plug it in wherever I take it #first world problems, I know#.
Other than my nitpicky comment about license keys I am very satisfied with TurboTax over the last ten years or so. I do not see myself ever not using this software unless there is some crazy price hike.

I've always used Turbo Tax for years , and I often wonder I use to go to a Tax preparer , and I wonder if he is still in business , If your taxes are not complicated this is the way to go.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

Never easier

My taxes involve itemized deductions, capital gains, IRA payments, dividends and interest. Took me less than 1 hour to go thru the process. I use quicken to capture all my deductions during the year and then because my brokerage is a partner with turbo tax all the information is downloaded. I have used turbo tax for over 10 years and it has become easier and easier to file.
What's great about it: Software is well developed, easy to use, and make tax filing easy
What's not so great: What's not to like.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
