Made it really Simple

I have been a turbo Tax customer for a lot of years ....maybe 15....I always come back because I am happy with the results and how easy it is to get around and go back to make changes and edits.
What's great about it: I love the step by step instructions and being able to go back a change things
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick and efficient

Turbo Tax sells for an amazingly low price (Please don't raise rates). I used the Deluxe version. The guides made everything very easy. Help was there when needed.
What's great about it: I let Turbo Tax do all the work . It was all so simple. Took no time at all.
What's not so great: No cons.

Always great, but getting costly

I'm always confident that TurboTax will prepare taxes correctly. I tried an alternative (one of the free ones) for one of my kids and got a very strange tax due to a state. TurboTax did the state return correctly (and easily). My only complaint is the cost of state returns. I live on a border and my kids will live in one state and work in another. I had to buy two states this year and it's overly expensive. It's close to the same cost as buying another copy of TurboTax with a free state return.
What's great about it: Reliable
What's not so great: Can be costly

So Far, So Good

I have been using Turbo Tax since it first came on the market and it has not disappointed me yet! It is a joy to use and you anticipate all my needs and reach out to me at each step of the way.
What's great about it: It is wonderful to be able to compute my taxes without having to know anything specific.
What's not so great: Quite frankly, I liked it all.

2015 Taxes

Moved from Oregon to California. The Turbo-tax explanation about entering non-resident amounts was confusing.
Also the portion where I was suppose to break down my
capital gains and dividends between states when I have no
idea at what time these occurred during the year.
The dividends I split proportionally and the capital gains
I listed in the state I lived in the last portion of the year as I
figured that is when they most probably occurred. As I didn't pay any taxes this probably is mute.
