So simple!

Have used Turbo Tax for several years and have found it to be very easy and simple to work through.
Will use in future for sure!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions, like having a tax pro looking over your shoulder.

Filing went smoothly for federal and state refunds

TurboTax does not explain what the "Refund Processing Service Fee" is that was attempted to be collected in addition to the Audit Defense at the end of the filing procedure. After several attempts to find out what it is and why there was no explanation I removed the Audit Defense service from my returns.
What's great about it: Good solid tax software program. Been using it since it was Intuit in the 1980s
What's not so great: I did not like the refund service processing fee attempted to be collected at the end

Nice software

The process was simple with transferring information from 2014 file and importing mine and my wife's w2 was great tool. once again I was impressed. thank you

Making the Complex Simple

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now and a benefit I did not expect was that, as I used the program, it "led" me to the most efficient and complete procedures to use in gathering and compiling the raw data from all the documentation I threw in desk drawers for 12 months. Additionally, by providing the background and intent of the various deductions in a clear, easy to understand manner, I got smarter and found additional deductions I might have discarded in the past. I then could perform this previously vile task quickly and with confidence. However, even with those positives I still would not add the word "fun" to the enterprise. Thanks!
What's great about it: The ease of navigating the process
What's not so great: Would like to see a "Magic Wand" page that, when used doubles refund.

Easy to understand and use.

Easy to use. Had everything done in under 2 hours. A lot cheaper then having them done. Saved over $150 having someone else do them. They cover everything that I needed plus items that could have been missed because they are not standard deductions.
What's great about it: Covers a lot of things that might have been missed.
What's not so great: Price

Makes Tax Filing Simple

I've used TurboTax for a number of years and it continues to improve. No need to worry about tax law changes - updates are included. Provides for fast, easy e-filling and keeps you informed until IRS accepts the return. The one area I'd like to see improved is the error check. After guiding you through all the income and expense sections very clearly, the error review suddenly shifts and cites forms and line numbers. It would be much better to take you back to the appropriate section and explain the errors in that context.
What's great about it: Easy to understand guides for every section
What's not so great: Error review doesn't take you back to worksheet
