Overall I like the program.
What's great about it: The thoroughness of the whole process is great. I love the step by step approach.
What's not so great: I had problems paying for my state e-file. I should be able to pay in the program & not have to call.

All in all it was pretty user friendly. I still needed some help from my dad who did my taxes prior years, just because I haven't done them before and didn't know exactly what everything was. Had him check them over, and he found something I had messed up. I think next year I will have it down!
What's great about it: Walked me through everything well.
What's not so great: I still had to ask my dad questions about what the categories were.

Simple and quick

The use of It's Deductible is a great asset. If you keep track of your deductions all year, it's just a click to enter them on your taxes. I have used this for years now and I can't think of a reason to do my taxes any other way.
What's great about it: walks you through the steps and makes it easy
What's not so great: Cost of State filing was more than tax bill/ mailed hard copy

KS has personal property tax on cars, trucks, boats, etc. and a change to allow for that under this section would be beneficial.
Excellent product and helps flow thru the tax preparation procedure.
What's great about it: Well structured and organized
What's not so great: Needs some flexibility for states

What's great about it: Walked me through all of that tax stuff. Made things clear and was very easy to use.

AT EACH SCREEN THERE IS AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT EACH ITEM IS ON THE SCREEN, AS WELL AS THE "BEWARE" IF YOU HAVE THIS...HOLD ON TO IT TO LATER. YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO ADD IT THEN.. THIS IS GOLD.
What's great about it: I LIKE THE ADDED NOTES EXPLAINING WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN ON EACH WINDOW

I have never gone wrong with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy, fast, federal returns
What's not so great: Difficult to pull up detailed info from last year's state taxes
