Simple, effective, accurate

I have used Turbo Tax for 20 years and it is so simple and easy to complete my return. Each years info is imported so I know what was done last year and many fields are already complete.
What's great about it: easy to transfer info from last year, easy to fill in

turbo Federal input

when going back to the category summary page the cursor goes to the top instead of the next input category..not a real big deal but it would nice to go to the next input subject.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and input
What's not so great: cursor return position (on input summary screen)

Disappointed

I have been using Turbotax since 2004, including the Premier version for somewhat complicated real estate income. That said, this 2015 tax year was the most difficult, cumbersome and disorganized experience. If I hadn't known what I needed to do, I would never have been able to complete the process in a timely way. Even though I elected to be walked through all information categories, I was not automatically directed to options such as applying my federal refund to next year's estimated tax payments. Also, I could not load the CD to my Windows desktop, the same one I have used since 2010, and instead had to use my Mac laptop, which loaded immediately with no issues. Finally, the program is really difficult to navigate. It's not easy to find forms, return to completed sections, or get help. Still, I finished and filed quickly, and will use Turbotax again next year.
What's great about it: quick and almost painless
What's not so great: disorganized and difficult to navigate

So easy to use and maneuver from page to page/item to item. Have used for many years and submitting my taxes gets easier every year!

Just told a friend he should try it. It does all the work and you can use it so it ask you all the questions a person doing your taxes should ask. I have been using it since Turbo Tax was a DOS program. Oh I think I just told my age.
What's great about it: Just too easy
