No Problems

Fairly straightforward. If you have all your paperwork in order, it is simple. If you have a complex tax situation, it might be more difficult. We're retired on a fixed income, so our return is not complex at all.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps
What's not so great: Difficult to get the "automatic" turbo tax delivered 3 yrs in a row!!

State Return Wouldn't Work

One person was part-time resident of home state, yet TT refused to exclude the out-of-state income from the home state return. It was not taxable and should not have been included. I finally did the return manually with forms from the post office. TT assumes that income on the federal return is also taxable on the state, which is not always true. Last year was the same, and I had to file an amended state return to get the error corrected. Hassle.
What's great about it: Ease of completion for routine cases
What's not so great: Impossible completion for more complex returns

Turbo Tax & Go

Quick and easy, even for us that just fell off the turnip truck.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, you don't need to be a tax expert.
What's not so great: I can't think of anything

State Taxes

For Wisconsin, the state tax section could be more thoroughly explained as far as where to get the info
What's great about it: EVerything was well read and user friendly
What's not so great: State tax section

very simple, very easy

I have used this program many years - very easy to use and understand - once you've used it once, it takes your information from last year so you don't have to re-enter data.
What's great about it: informed me of unusal deductions
What's not so great: asked info for property tax refund, but I don't have form yet

Easy and Painless

The process of doing my taxes has become a joy, just follow the instructions and Turbo Tax does the rest. Then Turbo Tax reviews everything and make sure that you have included all the information needed to procure the best refund that you have coming.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions

Printing option not great

When I went to print It sent me to an online program that didn't allow many printer options or my own printer options. I like to print 2 pages on each side of the paper to save on expensive ink, paper and file space...Not this year.
What's great about it: easy to fill out, transfers information from the previous year
What's not so great: Could not use regular printer options to print
