Very Thorough

I have used Turbo tax for more than 10 years now and love the ease of how it works. We do have a complicated tax filing need, so it works great for us. We even use it for a small business account for a relative of ours. Everything seems to flow great. We had one issue with answering the healthcare question as the parents and kids had different healthcare suppliers. That may need some further work.
What's great about it: ease of moving around different forms, testing different scenarios
What's not so great: had small issue around healthcare question, put me into loop

Happy Days

My wife's aunt is a CPA but retired before this tax year= "Good-Bye" free professional tax prep" I went back to the "ole Reliable" of Turbo Tax. Just as I remembered - it was fast and easy to use. I actually did it while juggling back and forth between my two three mos old twins and a rambunctious three year old while my wife was out.
What's great about it: ease of use/guidance
What's not so great: n/a

Quickest Ever!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last five years. This time I completed my taxes much faster, done in about 1.5 hours. There were, as there always is, a few spots where I have to stop and read the "Learn More" information so I can move ahead in the process, but the information in those sections was clear and to the point.
What's great about it: Ease of use, good explanations in sections I wasn't sure on.
What's not so great: Nothing, then again I don't have a lot of the stuff many might have...mine is pretty straight forward
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent — Except For …

Question were good. Led me through some things that I may have missed in the past. Way too much extra paperwork; all from Federal. I know you can't help it, just a beef!

Why pay big bucks to file taxes?

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have never had a problem. I have friends that pay way too much to these tax preparers and I always tell them that they should try Turbo Tax
