2015 tax prep review

Usually tax prep with Turbo Tax is a breeze, but this year, the program seemed to get stuck on a continuous loop in some areas. Also, the areas for dealing with having a home business were VERY confusing. Then, in several areas where I answered the questions, I had to go back and re-answer the same questions on the forms themselves during the review process. A little disappointed this year.
What's great about it: general ease of use
What's not so great: dificult to understand the area for home business expenses

Unknown State Tax Rate and efile charges

The State Tax calculation in TurboTax is different from my manual calculation. There is now way to know the rates TurboTax used to calculate my state taxes. Also, why am I paying to e-file state taxes. Isn't that included in the CD.
What's not so great: Unknow information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Confused

Overall I love Turbo Tax. I purchased the Deluxe program because I own a home. However, this year I was a bit confused. I sold and purchased a home and received a form (1099-S) that I didn't know what to do with. There were no clear guidelines for me to follow. I had to go to a nearby tax place to figure out if I was preparing my taxes right. Once they gave me the answers I was able to complete my taxes quickly.
What's great about it: Good Price
What's not so great: Needed more help on 1099 forms
