First time filing & recently divorced - easy peasy

First time filing (with TurboTax or other since 1990). Recently divorced. Bought a house. It was so easy to fill out my taxes. The step-by-step process helped me through all parts of the federal and state tax forms. My taxes aren't very complicated but I wasn't sure how to handle 2014 tax questions since I had a divorce in 2015. The forums were helpful in figuring out what to do.
What's great about it: Good help text when not sure what something meany, liked the step-by-step approach since it is first time filing taxes
What's not so great: Some help text is vague and had to go online for more information

Something is different

To the very end of processing my taxes my mistakes were not called to my attention. I had to search for them. I found the mistakes by going over everything line by line. I wish I could have deleted everything and started over. I was able to delete the state taxes and start over. I could not find such an action for the federal taxes. I failed to enter my state withholding. This translated to my owing for both state and federal taxes. I also had the wrong filing status. I was surprised that Turbo Tax didn't prompt me. It should say, "you did not enter an amount of state withholding, are you sure your W2 says zero for state withholding"? Something seems different about how Turbo Tax works. Changes made are not for the better !
What's great about it: Goes through it all nicely
What's not so great: If you make a mistake Turbo Tax may not tell you

Non painful way to do your taxes

What's great about it: Love the precise (not too wordy) way things are explained and choice to go long or just go to specific areas of your ret
What's not so great: Takes awhile to install, takes long time to open
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always painless

I've been using TurboTax Deluxe for years. Having previous year's data pulled into the current return is a huge time and work saver. I have not been disappointed and actually look forward to doing my taxes each year. With e-filing I get my refund directly deposited to my bank account about a week after filing.
What's great about it: Simple, step-by-step approach to filing
What's not so great: None

Getting my Money back!!

I like the convenience of this program. Very easy to use except some catagories can be confusing. I like doing my own taxes and doing them as early as possible. With a move and new home purchase it took us about two hours and we had our refund filed. Thank you Turbo Tax.
