I love T.T. I have been using for 6 years now. It is super simple and doesn't cost a fortune. Just pop in your computer download and then follow the step by step instructions! There is no way to mess it up. I have never had a problem with my return and the e-file normally comes faster than it says it will.
What's great about it: Super Simple
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo tax for years for my families tax returns. As long as they continue including the forms I nee without additional cost I will continue to do so. I only use Turbo tax for the 1 free state,
What's great about it: reasonably priced and -user friendly

Step by Step

The Income and deduction sections take you all the way back to the beginning and you have to continue to scroll down when it ahould take you to the next topic. Make the screen smaller so you can see all the section under a particular topic. If you go into a section and relize that you dont have to do anything in there, the program should say it was reviewed and nothing was required or no entry was made. Also sometimes you dont have an exact figure and you want to go directly back to that section after receiving paper work from whomever.
What's great about it: The Step by Step covers everything
What's not so great: The Income and deduction sections take you back

TT stayed the course in a fairly complex filing this year.
What's great about it: User-friendly; comprehensive
