I have been using Turbo Tax exclusively since 2001 and absolutely love it. There is no better way to do your taxes! All the pain of this horrible process is taken out of the equation. No one likes tax season but you can get through it painlessly with Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: speed and simplicity at its finest

IT CAN'T GET EASIER THAN THIS

I had been dreading filing my income taxes. I popped in the CD and the amazing software walking me through it one question after the other! It was literally just plugging in info. I loved watching the counter on the top as it added my refund return. It was actually so simple, I regret putting it off. Thank you Turbo Tax, for making a busy mother's life that much easier!
What's great about it: A CHILD CAN DO IT!
What's not so great: NOTHING!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Got my Refund! BRONCOS go get that trophy!

This is my fourth year I have used TurboTax and I love it! The interface is so easy, the step by step coaching is superb, and overall refund tracking as you go is excellent. I love the audit triggers and the maximizing of deductions approach. E-filing made simple! It's true what they say, "All you need to know is yourself". This is the quickest I've ever prepared my taxes.
Thank you TurboTax! Looking forward to next year.

What's great about it: Love the tutorial! Easy tranfer of information from previous year's tax return. Step by step process and explanations.
What's not so great: For me, no Cons! Haven't stumbled through the program so everything is good.

QUESTIONABLE GUIDANCE THIS YEAR

There was no explanation for several sections when entering my 1099 misc form. I did not have this problem last year. There was no reference to type of job number. Very frustrating this year. It would be nice if you can use some of the credit to pay the taxes owed.

You print form DR 1778 there are instructions on submitting documents to www.Colorado.gov/RevenueOnline - why not carry forward and assist rather than leaving one to manually start a new process on line?
