Easy peasy

This intuitive program made it easy to do my own taxes. Each of the sections walked you through the whole process.

I've used TurboTax for years and have always been satisfied with its ease of use. The help menu is thorough, easy to understand and printable from the pop-up so I view my return while reading. The sections of my return and the menus therein are easy to navigate and review on my own in case I forget to add information or need to make other changes. The error review feature is can be annoying but I wouldn't want it any other way ;-) ! Lastly, I feel my information is secure when transmitted and the follow-up reports are reassuring and keep you informed.

Just finished my taxes!

Turbo Tax is the easiest way to do your taxes. They guide you through and ask questions to make sure you are getting the highest refund possible. I have been a customer for many years now and have never had a problem getting my taxes done even in years that things were a little complicated..
What's great about it: Guides you through everything to get you the highest refund possible. Populates all of the info from the previous year.
What's not so great: I can't think of any cons. It is a very easy process. If you can read you can do your own taxes.

:) My Taxes are done!

I am a person who hates doing taxes. Turbo Tax is very easy to use. Most of the questions are easy to answer. If I don't understand a question, the help menu usually clears matters up for me. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. I love the fact that I can file my taxes on line and receive my rebate in a short amount of time.
What's great about it: Easy installation
What's not so great: I hate having to do taxes!

Did what I expected year after year

I have used the Intuit product Turbo Tax for over 12 years. I have seen great improvements in the product even though it was extremely helpful in the early years that I purchased it. I have not had any issues with the Federal, State, Local or school districts when filling my taxes. I will definitely continue to use Turbo Tax for many years to come.
What's great about it: Simple and getting simpler
What's not so great: Not sure I like having to re-answer questions when starting over.

Piece of cake !

Worth the money . I've used it for several years. Easy to understand and takes you through every deduction step by step.I even took my taxes to H & R Block one year to make sure I wasn't missing anything and they charged me almost 3 times what Turbo Tax Cost me and found nothing more in refund. Always do the direct deposit e-file and my money is in the bank in a couple of weeks . Nothing like filing from the comfort of home at your leisure , ( with a cold beverage )
What's great about it: Walks you right through it step by step
What's not so great: Having to file at all

I have been using Turbo Tax since it's inception. I would not think of handling my taxes any other way.

Simple to use (mostly)

I've used TurboTax for several years now, and have never had any problems until this year. I lived in another state for 3 months this year, just long enough to have to file a state income tax return (my home state, WA, does not have a state income tax). TurboTax it asked for the dates of residency in the other state. Easy enough. But it then asked for dates of residency in my home state; but, it would not let me split those dates. For example, lived in WA from 1/1/2015 to 5/10/2015 and 7/18/2015 to 12/31/2015. The intervening period was in IL. TurboTax only let me enter the 1/1/2015 to 5/10/2015 period in WA, but did not let me enter the other period after I came home. Thus, it filled out the IL state tax return incorrectly. I had to print out the state tax return and fill in the dates by hand.
TurboTax should fix this to account for the possibility of split time in multiple states, one of which does not have state income tax.
What's great about it: Guides you through step-by-step.
What's not so great: State income tax details section confusing
