I am filing a part year resident return for two states for a relative. The software was confusing- because in reality the amounts reported to the two states did not coincide with the actual move dates...one state overstated and one state understated. I have to do more research to figure out how to correctly report wages to the two states. I need a professional to help.

I want to mail my state but printing out my copy has an over print of "do not file form not final"
why is this happening is it in program or state problem?

Problems with Turbo Tax

Worst year ever for using Turbo Tax. Was unable to pay on line to file PA tax or to pay to download GA tax...we lived in 2 states in 2015. This is unacceptable. I am not likely to purchase Turbo Tax next year.
I am traveling for 10 days and upon return will attempt again to file PA taxes and to purchase GA taxes on line. Let's see if Turbo Tax is fixed by then.

2015 Turbotax

I really like the fact that it brings prior year data up to complete this year's form. That is worth the cost all by itself. I do a rough draft of my return and then can check the return as it is being completed by turbotax. This lets me know that I have given all the necessary data.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, transfers meticulous data from prior year.
What's not so great: Goes through lots of data categories that are not needed

I have used TurboTax more years than I can remember.
I find that the job gets easier every year.
The step-by-step process asks the questions in a very understandable way and gives you the chance to look up more detail if it is wanted.

Would buy again, used before. Saved money, less expensive than an accountant for the type of taxes I file. An accountant would probably use similar software and charge much more money.
What's great about it: easy to use, logical
What's not so great: some questions could be reworded for easier understanding
