What's great about it: nice walk thru all the items,, easily brought forward info from last year
What's not so great: too much charge to e-file state return...lower the cost

Turbo Tax is great!

I felt like the process was smooth, and that most topics were sufficiently explained. A couple of business expense items were a little unclear, but I was able to research and find the information I needed.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Everything is explained.
What's not so great: Requires a little extra knowledge over using a tax preparer.

Good first time experience

I have never done my own taxes before and this software made it a good experience. Every question was clear and the help desk gave good answers when I was confused.
What's great about it: Prompts every step of the way were very helpful with clear directions.
What's not so great: I got an error message about my employer's state id number being too long and had to use the help screen to find a fix
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
