Just one funky thing

Have been using TurboTax for years now. They changed something in the 1099-MISC section that made the entry of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend information get caught in a strange loop that would never exit. Then when we did the smart check, it kept going back to that loop. First time we've ever had that problem.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: Can get stuck in wierd loops

Did my taxes in under 90 minutes, and am confident I got my maximum refund...very easy to follow with great explanations and help along the way if needed.

Disappointed

I was disappointed because when I started my return, I was promised a free state tax E-file, but the federal tax E-file site was down, so I didn't file either federal or state taxes. When they were fixed, I filed both federal and state, but I was charged for the state E-file. I feel as if I should not have been charged since it was not my fault I couldn't file when I started.

I have used Turbo Tax for 8 of the last 9 years and find it to be very intuitive, very detailed, and trustworthy. I always feel confident about my tax returns when I do them with Turbo Tax.

What a pleasure

Considerably less than using a CPA and best of all I was able to do it myself. I did my taxes with the guidance of TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy interface with lots of helpful guidence.
What's not so great: Certain areas took a bit to find where I could edit the information.

Always easy to do

Have been using turbo tax for years. Cheaper then going some where and always easy to use. Has always been safe and secure and I have never been audited.

decent

every time i am on a section, such as deducitons, and go into an area and then complete the area, it takes me back to top of deductions page and i have to scroll down and figure out where i was last. Ought to just know what subsection i was in.
Paper filing was also confusing as multiple copies of things printed and i had to determine which needed to be filed and which didn't. I didn't want multiple copies as i save the final electronically to PDF.
