My Military Retirement income does not transfer from federal to the Ohio state return correctly. Ohio does not tax military retirement whereas federal does. For the last two years I have had to go line-by-line through my Ohio return to ensure I change it correctly. Ohio has not taxed military retirement for several years now. Seem like Intuit could easily correct this in software code update.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: Not all types of income transfer properly from Federal to State returns.

Liked My Refund

I liked everything with the exception of the State forms. You need to have the property Tax info befor you can submit the property tax refund forms. This info does not come out until mid-March. So after completing the Tax portion of the Minnesota tax forms it jumps right to the Property Tax Forms. The State Property Tax portion should be separated from the Income Tax portion so that the State income Tax forms can be transmitted without having to complete the Property Tax portion until the information is received in mid March.

I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 8 + years and it is so easy and less stress and it takes you threw every deduction you need so you can get the best return possible. Its so worth it.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy and no stress

Turbo Tax is the Best!!!! Completely done with taxes getting the maximum refund possible in just under 2 hours!!!
What's great about it: Direct and to the point
What's not so great: Trying to sell other products that I do not need
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
