I have used TurboTax for about eight years now and I will continue to use it. Software explains everything so that anyone can understand. Stays up with all the tax changes so I don't have to. Easy to use even for a beginner.
What's great about it: Gets better every year

A Breeze to Use

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and always breeze through my taxes and feel like they are done accurately. I even prepared taxes for another family member.
What's great about it: Asks you about all topics with clear instructions; Returns sent right to your bank
What's not so great: You need to keep the disk to access your computer file later down the road.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and keep expecting it to "surprise" me with a major change in rules, etc. and making it harder to apply the questions for a lay person such as myself. I have no background in accounting, etc. and find that if I can do this rather painlessly, anyone can do it.
Keep it simple. I'll keep coming back each year. Oh yeah, I'm 67 years old so an old dog can be taught new tricks!
What's great about it: Easy to use and follow directions.

I've used this software for several years now after initially being uneasy about completing my taxes on my own. The step-by-step instructions and walking through each section made it easier for me to understand. I highly recommend this product.
What's great about it: Great guidelines, simple to use, step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: Difficulty getting through the insurance section, it was somewhat confusing

Great software. Although my return is relatively simple, Turbo Tax takes all of the reading and problem solving out of the process. Answer straight forward questions and have Turbo Tax do all of the work.
What's great about it: Fills out all required forms by answering simple questions
What's not so great: Not much. Pretty much foolproof.

Hate Taxes - Love Turbo Tax

I so appreciate Turbo Tax taking me step by step through all the categories. Going back to review/edit a section is so easy. Being able to stop and save and then come back to where I left off is SOOOO helpful.
What's great about it: step by step instructions for all information necessary to complete the forms
What's not so great: Still sometimes frustrating when I'm just not quite so sure of something.
