I wouldn't care to go-it -alone anymore; and paying a CPA for our simple situation would be to expensive.

Excellent software. I would recommend to friends. I have used this for the last 5 years and have been very happy with this. Very easy to use.

What's not so great: no tab to just print out state without efile

Easy as pie!

I have used for 5 years in a row now. It gets easier every year. I can pretty much knock my taxes out in less than 2 hours. I would recommend to anyone wanting to do taxes on their own.
What's great about it: Simple and easy to use.
What's not so great: None.

Worst Experience to date

I've been using turbotax for 8 years now, and this year had to be the worst experience. If I hadn't already paid for the turbotax I would have gladly put my money else where to complete my taxes.
And why did I have to pay for "Turbotax State Tax File Free," Doesn't that defeat the purpose of putting the word "Free" in the title. I'll be looking else where next year for my tax software.
What's great about it: Finally got it completed
What's not so great: Kicked multiple times, didn't save my review during 2 incidents
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I had a baby

2015 Taxes

Product easy to follow though quite time consuming. Some of the calculations that are entered in worksheets cannot be entered manually and you have to go through the applcation. It shoul give you the options of entering on the form or and then run the check. This would help to cross check the work of a tax professional or even our own calculations.
What's great about it: Pretty Easy to Follow
What's not so great: Unable to Use the Forms to enter info manually and have checked
