Another Year of Taxes Complete with TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for over 13 years and find it easy to use for my tax purposes. TurboTax is rated as one of the more popular tax software packages, but they do have competition that provide the same features at a more competitive price (reason I gave Turbo tax 4 instead of 5 stars).
Why do I stick with TurboTax? I guess it is due to familiarity and being able to automatically transfer previous year information into the new tax year.
Would I stop using TurboTax? Yes, if price goes up, or if TurboTax pulls the same stunt that they did two years ago by pulling a required Tax form off the basic package, forcing customers to purchase their upgraded software at a higher cost.
What's great about it: Easy to use; Automatically transfers previous year tax information;
What's not so great: Price

Retirement has its challanges.

I was able to complete the most complicated tax return ever, for me. I needed to have help a few times, always got accurate answers, and finished in confidence that it is right. 76 pages of forms and worksheets would have been too overwhelming without this TurboTax program.
What's great about it: Calculations and entries were terrific.
What's not so great: IRS makes all this too complicatied.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Using This Program for years

I and my family have used this program for years and am very satisfied. I don't know if I will have to replace my Mac next year. I tried to up grade to El Capitan but only have 4 gigabytes of Ram Memory and that upgrade is over 6 gigabytes.
What's great about it: My son & daughter take advantage of my Turbo Tax Program
What's not so great: Won't work on my Mac next year and was not able to upgrade

Filing takes far less time than for me to compile my receipts. So easy and accurate.
What's great about it: They make deductions a snap!

Perhaps another version called TurboTax for Retirees with specific sections such as:
-Investments and retirement funds for retired individuals including 401K rollovers, etc.
-temporary employment
-medical deductions (with a focus on Medicare, MediCal in California ,or other similar state plans.)
-deductions for the disabled .
-Social Security deductions and income such as SSI
-Deductions re: legal fees and estate planning

Well, you get the idea.
What's great about it: Good transitions from section to section.
What's not so great: Skewed toward employed indivduals when retirees abound.

Takes the pressure out of tax season!!

I've used TurboTax for quite a few years now and it seems that each year it gets a little easier to follow. Recommend it to anyone who is thinking of doing their own taxes.
