Turbo Tax is very easy and convenient to use, I with it was not as expensive.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and complete.

I absolutely love Turbo Tax! It is easy to understand. They review everything, and make it easy to correct any errors. There is enough support for almost any question. I always tell people to use this service. It is easier than they think. I was apprehensive at first. But now I won't do my taxes any other way!

Stress Free Tax Filing

Turbo Tax has allowed me to retake my tax life. Turbo Tax takes out the uncertainty and stress of doing your taxes. I love Turbo Tax! I've a user for over twenty years! I don't see myself using any other tax program!
What's great about it: Transferable returns from year to year
What's not so great: Waiting for updates from Federal Government

pretty easy

pretty simple for normal tax returns, long or short. Can be a little confusing for odd items. walking away and coming back later usually helps solve odd issues. Items like 1099-misc from college grants, stock sales,
What's great about it: very simple for basic long form
What's not so great: can be a little difficult for out of the ordinary items

The questions asked to guide me through the process are clear. Help is always available including "What is this ?" which explains terms and situations that might be unclear.
I have absolute confidence that all calculations are accurate and as long as I enter the right data they will not fail.

What's great about it: The instructions and language that is easily understood by average people. Clearly understood help.
What's not so great: No cons, it gets better every year.

Not as easy to use as past years

The federal return was easy, but a lot of extra information was needed for state, and then local taxes was like trying to gouge my eyes out. Last year was much easier and didn't take long at all. This year took much longer to complete. All the "extra" expenses makes this program not worth the expense. I had to pay extra for state, then extra to file state. Could have gone in and had it done with less stress.
What's great about it: Federal was a breeze, the rest was difficult
What's not so great: It was difficult to go back and edit some information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
