Another year down!

I am confident in my submissions. Turbo tax helps me to get the most refund possible. I like that it asks questions to ensure I have submitted all my information completely.
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: Crashed twice

Love Turbo Tax

I've been doing my taxes on Turbo Tax since 2010 and it get easier every year. All my information is there so I don't have to reinvent the wheel every year. Easy to follow step by step instructions and always answers and explanations as you go along.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Long Time TurboTax Fan

I have used TurboTax for about 20 years and love it ! The first year of use I had calculated my taxes myself and thought I owed about $1,000. TurboTax produced a refund in excess of $1,000.
What's great about it: Ease of Use; Comprehensive Tax Accounting; Year-to-Year Continuity
What's not so great: Long time to start up

Old Age Friendly

This is the first time I've done our income tax return in more than 25 years. (I was self-employed and my accountant did that deed). I was somewhat skeptical at first--thinking age and inexperience and new laws and all that stuff, but TurboTax lived up to its good reputation. Thanks for guiding me to success.
What's great about it: Easy to understand language and instructions
What's not so great: nothing really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great and So EASY

Gave me deductions I did not know I had and a bigger refund - I have use Turbo Tax for several years and I love it!!!!!

What's not so great: none that I found

Easy as Ever

Having used TurboTax since 1990 (except one year when I tried a competitor), I have to classify myself as a satisfied customer. The program is consistently uniform - no changes from year to year - and the instructions are clear and simple. As the TV ad says, "It doesn't take a genius to do your taxes!"
What's great about it: Easy to understand instructions, easy to read screens.

Gradually Getting Better

I've used TurboTax for at least 10 years now. It's becoming a little better and a little more intuitive each year. For folks just starting out with TurboTax, however, the process may seem a bit awkward because it does not follow the same steps that you follow in filling out a Form 1040. I suspect it would be very easy to completely miss something very important. I recommend checking the returns long before you're ready to file them. The longer you use TurboTax, however, the more intuitive it becomes. So stick with it even if the first year seems awkward.
What's great about it: Improvements each year
What's not so great: Does not follow same process as filling out form 1040

Time Saver!

We have been using TurboTax for several years. It's easy to use, even the first time. It imports the info from last year's return so that I can compare as I go along. Also, it doesn't take hours to prepare our tax forms and is a lot less expensive than paying a tax preparer. The only drawback this year was that I was not given the option of importing my charitable donations from ItsDeductable like I was able to do last year. Last year, I used TurboTax Premier. This year, I used TurboTax Deluxe. I don't know if that made a difference.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Imports info from last year's return.
What's not so great: Unable to import donations from ItsDeductable.
