Great Product

Excellent app with accuracy and ease of use. Great guidance through each step and section of completing your taxes. Ease in filing and printing a full copy of the return. Couldn't be happier and I feel it is a good price. But I also have used Quicken for years and a real fan of intuit products. The ability of TurboTax to input information from past TurboTax years and from Quicken and It's Dectuctable is a great help (both super programs). Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Easy to use and have never had a problem or an audit in the many years I've used it!
What's not so great: Non so far

Top of the Line - Excellent Tax Ware

Turbo Tax is the best tax program out there. Why pay extra for tax preparers when you can do your own taxes, because it's just that simple... I love it, have tried others, lost money because in the end I had to go out and purchase Turbo Tax. I highly recommend Turbo Tax. Love it!

The program seems well enough but you have drastically increased the cost of using Turbo Tax. Last year the State Tax was included with only a charge for e-file. This year i paid as well a state charge for TT as high as for the Federal. If that is to be the same next year I will be looking for another program, to assist filing taxes.

3rd year I've used TurboTax and plan to continue doing so in the future. Software loads easily and forms are updated, timely. Easy-to-understand questions. Easy to go back and check figures.

Fast and Easy

I have used the program ever since it first came out and I love it, I can file my taxes in less then 30 minutes and get the maximum amount of refund for me and my family.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything and makes sure everything is in order
What's not so great: hmmm...didnt get a bigger refund?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Error in Turbo Tax-calculation of stock sale gain

Beware if you import a document that shows the sale of a mutual fund or stock and this document does not contain the cost basis or the purchase date of this security - Turbo Tax will automatically assume that this sale is a short term sale. There is no way to change this other than to delete the entry and add it all back in manually with the proceeds of the sale, the cost basis, the date purchased and the date sold. If I didn't know what I was doing, I would have over-paid the IRS.

It was great as usual. I have been using TurboTax for at least 12 years.
What's great about it: It asked all the questions so that I did not forget anything.
What's not so great: I could not copy from last years online TurboTax

I only got stuck on one entry 4562 line 24a, I wish it would take you back to that line item so you can correct it. I had no choice but keep choosing each option until it was excepted whether it was the legal chose or not. Could not find any answers in the help section. The process should return you to that line item highlighted in red or something.
