I've used Turbotax for more than 10 years, which speaks for itself. It has been easy to use and covered all the areas that I've needed. Minor issue - things like trying to change my address and name to align with each form (since they have minor differences sometimes) doesn't seem to be allowed. Also, the default when opening seems to be to open a new form instead opening the one just worked on.
Overall - very satisfied with the level of detail and the ease of use.

What's great about it: Fairly Easy and thorough
What's not so great: Unable to change some minor parts
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall, I like TurboTax and use it every year now. It makes filing my taxes easy.

This would have been the first year for me to be able to import my W2 from my employer, but the field of entry for my social security number kept putting the dashes in the number when they weren't supposed to be used according to the sample entry. Very disappointed.
What's great about it: Ease of using software

First year I didn't owe taxes

Have used turbo tax for years never had a problem. This year when it came to charity donation to purple heart had to specifically know what items I donated. Previous years was able to estimate value. We donate a lot of clothing therefore next time I donate I will keep a record of just how many articles are donated. Thought that the value amount given for charity donations was very fair.
What's great about it: Covers all steps
What's not so great: Charity deductions required you list specific items to calculate

WE HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR NINE YEARS AND WITH THE INFORMATION AND HELP PROVIDED, IT IS BY FAR ONE OF THE QUICKEST AND EASIEST WAYS TO FILE FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED TURBOTAX TO SEVERAL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND ALL WERE PLEASED WITH THE EASE OF USE AND SUPPORT PROVIDED IF NEEDED PARTICULARLY THE ABILITY TO NAVIGATE FORWARD OR BACKWARDS AT ANY TIME.
