Just an Excellent Service!

Awesome! What more can I say. This is my 5th or 6th year using Turbo Tax & I love the way it automatically transfers data from the year before. Just a GREAT service & don't know what I would do without you!
What's great about it: Step by Step instructions & easy to read

Made filing easy once again...!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years with complete success and continued trust. I won't consider any other product!! The usage has been streamlined and simplified over the years and I am very at ease with all applications of filing. High praises for all those who have worked to improve the process of this necessary evil known as "filing your taxes"!! Kudos to all....!!!
What's great about it: Downloading info from previous years
What's not so great: This year.....waiting on forms from IRS

Better than 2014

it appears that you have made some helpful changes and made it better . But people who are older and have less understanding of tax laws and less education still may have a hard time understanding what are federal credits even after looking at what you have as example's .

What's not so great: the answers you provide may not be clear to less educated users or older persons

Great until the file process

I changed to a new computer and do not have old files transferred. I knew that would take me longer and was fine. This return was simple to fill out and I appreciated the suggestions and hints along the way.
All was positive until the electric filling. First, I expected that to be free along with the State. Not true. Further the price to deduct from the return was ridicules and offensive. I could have had the return done cheaper than your charges. I honestly wanted give you a much lower review. Print charges on the package.
What's great about it: Easy to add information
What's not so great: Very hard to do the electronic filing. Plus unexpected charges

State of Ohio Pension disbursements section

My wife, who is still employed full-time, receives a monthly retirement amount from a previous employer for whom she was vested. It was terribly difficult to enter the information that she was receiving a monthly payment and not a lump sum disbursement. It appeared that the "lump sum" was the default setting for the program and it was only through more than 30 minutes of trial and error entries that we were able to file the state return at all. Problems would have been minimized by a "back" button. We've used Turbo-Tax for over a decade, and this the first time that I've considered switching to another tax preparation software. I am extremely disappointed.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: Incredibly confusing and annoying
