Works well for old retiree

I've walked myself through several approaches to finding deductions and found nothing that beets the standard deduction. Conclusion- this TurboTax preparer is the best available. I wish it would take no for State Tax as final. The Federal form 1099 -R line 5 is a little confusing relating to what is medical insurance as a deductible, though available from other documents.
What's great about it: Very good at finding deductions.
What's not so great: I couldn't qualify for my longetivity

Federal Refund was simple
I reside in one state and worked in another. The state I reside was duplicating my income. It took 3x for me to figure out (without the assistance of TurboTax) why it seemed I would have to pay. Actually when error was corrected, it appeared with a refund. Seems there may be a bug within the resident state's earned income.

Next year I will use a professional tax advisor. Turbo Tax is only good for simple tax returns.

I Like Turbo Tax

I like that I found my 2014 return using my Turbo Disk. I hope I can save it.
What's great about it: I can walk thru, change my mistakes, edit, add.
What's not so great: Sometimes Turbo is stubborn. Keeps looking for more, but there is none as far as I am concerned.
