Always liked turbotax and will continue to use this. Used HR Block once but went back to turbotax because easy to follow and complete.

Poor - did not provide business code

TurboTax did not provide the required business codes for being self employed, so I spent about 30 minutes trying to find them on the internet.
Each year, TurboTax becomes harder to use because of the lack of explanations in laymen terms and not providing required information to complete the forms.

tax fee

I bought the program from the store but I still have to pay for the Turbo Tax Premium service and the e-file service. this service fees should be included when we purchased the program. This is totally ripped off.

Easy Money

Overall this is a great program. For a non-home owner this is probably the easiest way to do your taxes.
What's great about it: Makes taxes a breeze and it only took me an hour and a half.
What's not so great: It would be nice if it imported more Turbo tax documents and used them to auto fill some of the questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Only One Little Problem

I wanted to use my State ID card to prove my identity. My State ID card shows an expiration date of 99-99-99 and shows Type as LIFETIME. I tried entering 99/99/2099 but it was not accepted. TurboTax wanted the date entry in the form of mm/dd/yyyy. I feel that My state should have shown a reasonable expiration date, such at 12-31-99, instead of 99-99-99.

Long time customer. Turbo Tax makes the process as easy as possible. I appreciate being able to start and stop the process at various point during the procedure. Be sure to save the input whenever stopping. I also appreciate the informational pop-ups clarifying certain questions during the process.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the required steps. Also liked being able to start and start at various points during the process.
What's not so great: Who likes taxes?

got a good refund, but using the internet was a bust. dropping support for windows xp requires me to buy a new computer.

Love this Software

I have been using this product every year since 2012. I love the walk through capability that I refer to as "tax preparation for dummies" for people like me. If you are unsure the explanations are awesome and the examples really puts each situation in perspective. My only con is having to purchase new software each year. I don't understand why intuit hasn't come up with a way to update a previous year version to a current year.
What's great about it: Very User Friendly
What's not so great: Repurchase of Software Yearly
