Missing data

We answered the question using Turbo regarding insurance coverage by those filing the joint return. However, the printed form did not have the answer indicated. Problematic for the customer as IRS will think we missed it when in reality, Turbo did not transfer the appropriate answer correctly.
What's great about it: transfer of data, ease of use
What's not so great: Healthcare entry sheet did not carry forth enry made in turbo relating to coverage by insurance

I've been using TurboTax for 8 or 10 years and I love it! Easy to use, and explained in layman's terms.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Difficult to find certain deductions I was looking for specifically

Love Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 7 years and every year it gets easier. There are always software updates and changes made to make it easy.
I also like being able to import from last year so i don't have to type in all the information again.

Turbo Tax Good

My one year old was prescribed Nutramigen due to a milk allergy that rendered him unable to gain weight and caused intestinal bleeding. Was VERY expensive. Turbo Tax help line confirmed that since it was prescribed it would qualify as a deduction, greatly helping us to absorb the cost.

Got through it!

There were sections that were cumbersome. I had to go back and forth trying to get where I thought I wanted to go. I used the help button and was able to finally get what I needed. Printing out the final state copy just about put me over the edge. I didn't realize that I needed to print everything before it got to be in PDF form. All in all Turbo tax is about as good as it's going to get!
What's great about it: Step by step method
What's not so great: I can't read my mind!
