Excellent! Superb! Easy!

What's great about it: It's amazing how anyone without account knowledge can do their tax returns without any worries!
What's not so great: None so far!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Do not prepay for your annual return

I have been a turbo tax user since 2001. I love the ease of the product and having historical information available. In 2015 I filed an extension. When filing the extension I was given the option to prepay for the federal return. Knowing that I would use turbo tax anyway, I paid it in advance. This was huge mistake as my prior year information was no longer available to load into my 2015 return. This added hours of time and frustration to the experience. I find it odd that there is an unknown penalty for paying in advance for the product.
What's not so great: Prepaying stopped the automatic upload of prior information

Some actions were still clumsy. Need a way to shorten preparation and clarify actions needed. But more comprehensive than before.
Need an easier way to handle mileage.
What's great about it: Some terms/changes done which helped.
What's not so great: Some terms unfamiliar.

this is my 21st year using turbotax so i am a loyal user and recommend it for that many years too!
What's great about it: being able to transfer previous returns saves a lot of time
What's not so great: it is more and more difficult

Painless and Easy

Tax preparation has never been that easy for me. Turbo Tax always makes it painless and organizes everything. I do suggest that if you get stuck anywhere there should be a quick access to type in your question. Overall it was such a pleasant experience that I know I'll use Turbo Tax again next year.
What's great about it: Q and A method makes it easy and all sections are covered thoroughly.
What's not so great: Explanatory sections are in small fonts and hard to read.
