Saved me from debtor's prison

I hate doing anything financial and so procrastinate about filing my taxes. TurboTax saved me from myself and the IRS. THANK YOU!!

Mail a check for refund

Program would not let me file electronically with out being a direct deposit. I went back numerous times and changed checked boxes to mail a check and unchecked deposit to checking account. After numerous tries I just went with mailing my returns. This was a real pain in my butt.

Good software but reviewed errors hard to id

I like this software and look forward to using this software when I'm doing my dreaded tax forms - however one aspect is problematical - error reporting in the review process.
I had an error asking for some text in a form. There was no context for the message only that I needed something. I went to the Forms list, pulled up the Schedule and looked at all of the pieces and never found any place like that. Consequently, I just entered the letter "x" and went on my merry way. I hope that the text required doesn't invalidate my tax return or cause an audit.
What's great about it: Been using this since very early in MacinTax days - nice sw
What's not so great: during review errors reported are often almost without context

Have been using TuboTax for as long as I can remember. Always a good product. Never had any problems. It performs as advertised. What more could you ask.

Excellent Experience as Always

Being retired and self-employed on a part-time basis, my return is a bit complex. TurboTax covers all the bases for the business side and makes the whole process stress free (if you have your detailed backup data).
And e-filing is great!
This year I had a new business situation regarding trading in a car used for business on a new one. The form presented was pretty complicated and I did have to have phone support. The rep connected to my system and very quickly walked me thru the process - excellent job!
Definitely will continue to use TurboTax each year!

2016 Turbo Tax2016

I have used intuit payroll in past, (no longer have a business), and TurboTax for several years, so I am not new to doing my own taxes. I was frustrated on several issues. I was unable to import from last years TurboTax file! It took me several hours to finally get the taxes I had paid with my extension to actually show up (after I had printed a copy of return did I discover it had not moved from question box to return. I went back several time to that section and software assured me it had been entered. After going to help box, did I enter it directly to return. Lastly, I had trouble singing in to Intuit. The program kpt me running in circles to upgrade 9change0 password.
What's great about it: mostly straight forward
What's not so great: never was able to see return before finishing return!
