USED TURBOTAX FOR YEARS!

For me, most things are straight forward. This year I had a question on a Sale of a Gifted Asset and Turbo Tax's Expert "Cindy" pleasantly and professionally walked me through the process. She deserves a raise for being a great Human Resource for TurboTax. It takes more time to gather the required data than it does to input the information into the software. All I can say is, "See you next year, TurboTax!"
What's great about it: TurboTax is more user friendly than other Programs I have tried.
What's not so great: The only Con is that I have to use it once a year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Still the Best!

As a long time user from the MacInTax days, I appreciate the ease of use that TurboTax provides. It has been helpful to be able to save the Data and Software to a flash drive, not only for archival purposes, but to have as a backup to hardware problems as I had this year.
It's not clear, as a user of the Schedule F, which version to buy to cover farm operations; however, the coverage of the farm expense and depreciation has improved over the years so that I don't have to make manual override entries and then combat error messages anymore.
Please provide easily saved and transferred versions so that those of us who deal with computer equipment issues, and an occasional look back, can go back, save or carry forward data.
Most navigation is easy, with one exception, the CONTINUE and BACK step buttons move around the screen requiring a location search and mouse cursor move for each step when moving back and forward a few pages. Putting all the navigation buttons on the same spot on the windows would make it much easier to navigate ahead and back a few pages.
What's great about it: Easy entry process and navigation
What's not so great: Not easy to tell when to enter/save items and continue the entries with ItsDeductible
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Somehow I missed the part on the Federal return about my State refund from the previous year - I did not recall seeing that come up during the input queue. I had to go back after I was done because I had to find out where to enter that data. This has happened to me before using Turbo Tax.

A "Regular User" 2015 Review

I have used Turbo tax since its inception and appreciate it each year. The Easy Step makes tax preparation, as its name implies. easy. This year, however, it seemed more difficult to move back to check on items without going through an entire section walk through of the section to get to the numbers. I like the idea of being able to provide the supporting documentation on separate pages, but this year there seemed to be less functionality with that aspect. All-in-all - would I recommend Turbo Tax to others - ABSOLUTELY!
What's great about it: Ease of Easy Step with form functionality
What's not so great: Less easy to move backward to other sections
