What's great about it: 1099's imported OK
What's not so great: Could not enroll in donations program, did not pick up payment sent with state request for extension

Another year, another return

Worked just like it did last year, same problems with donation program and had to search for and manually enter my payment sent with state request for extension of time to file. at least this year it picked up my federal payment with extension request.
What's great about it: Imported 1099's OK
What's not so great: Could not get into donations valuation program, TTax did not import my payment with state request for extension

Deluxe Version

I've been using TurboTax for several years and find it easy to use. I deliver newspapers for extra income, and last year TurboTax Deluxe was trying to force me to upgrade to Home and Business since my business income was above $400. I was not happy about this and was thinking of looking for another software package if that was to remain the case. I was quite pleased that this year it allowed me to proceed to Schedule C with not threatening messages about upgrading. One thing that I have found is that it asks questions about your vehicle when you want to deduct mileage that is uses to try and figure out depreciation on the vehicle. It would be handy if it asked you up front if you want to depreciate the vehicle or not and save you the headache of having to undo those numbers.
Overall I'm very pleased with TurboTax Deluxe and will continue to use it for my state and federal returns.
What's great about it: Guides you through everything easily
What's not so great: Can lead you down the auto depreciation road when you just want to deduct milage

MY KIDS DO THEIR OWN TAXES. DON'T HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE FOR DOING ALL OF OUR TAXES. WHEN THEY LOOK FOR THE MOST REFUNDS ITS TRUE. THIS IS MY 4TH YEAR USING TURBO TAX. I SUGGEST IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW.

I Love Turbotax

I've been using TurboTax for many years and absolutely love it. My wife is always telling me to take it to a professional, but after all of these years I AM a PROFESSIONAL! It's very tedious and time-consuming, but I think it's well worth the little cost. The only thing that could be better is if we didn't have to file taxes!
What's great about it: I like its detailed questioning, thoroughness, and accuracy. I feel very comfortable using it.

Stress-less processing.

I'm thankful that Turbo Tax puts out in the current tax year early enough to start collecting all the necessary information and data. As soon as info & data are collected, it can be imputted into Turbo Tax. No last minute deadline chaos. No Stress. Just imput as you go along and then file with a great deal of confidence and peace of mind.
A really great product.
What's great about it: The Step by Step process is fantastic. Easy to understand and follow the questions asked.
