Turbo Tax

Once again, easy to use and not a huge job.
What's great about it: easy to use - question and answer format helps a lot.
What's not so great: slightly cumbersome in the having to figure our how to print our state return for filing.

Really trying to get it right

I've been using TurboTax for years, and intend to do so in the future. I found it easy to find the elements I needed (I use TurboTax Deluxe on a Mac, from a disc), and data entry went smoother this year than prior years.
I did run into a snag at the end. I have to file two state returns, and needed to pay for the extra e-file. There was a bug in the software, and once I posted the specific bug to the answer community, I got quick responses from TurboTax and walked through the situation with Arturo Federico.
If someone at TurboTax is reading this, I commend Arturo's professionalism... I wish you made it easier for us to give props for excellent customer support. Arturo was knowledgeable, helpful, and we stepped through the problem together. Thanks!
What's great about it: Easy-to-use interface, responsive customer support
What's not so great: Still somewhat buggy, but I did notice an improvement from prior years

I have used TurboTax for many years and depend on it to file my taxes.
This year I ran into a serious problem transferring my returns from last year on my iMac. It prompted me to let TurboTax verify Intuit's security code in Apple Keychain, but wouldn't accept my command to allow or deny the request, locking up the program until I could get help resolving the problem.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, thorough, accurate
What's not so great: Problem transferring previous return

love turbo tax deluxe! best and quickest way to file your taxes, hands down. i will only file using turbo tax. very efficient program that walks you through every step. awesome stuff.
