I have used TurboTax since 1996 following the use of a Brand "X" software in 1995.
Only once (2004) did I have my Federal Income Tax filed by a professional tax service and I could have done just as well then on my own with TurboTax.
I will always use TurboTax.

2015 Turbo Tax Delux

Fast and simple to do both Federal and State taxes. Easy to follow questions and the input screens were well laid out.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Keeps me confident of my filing

Turbo Tax is really easy to follow and it is nice to see what I did the previous year and feel confident of the current year because not much changes for me on insurance and stuff. The comparison is great. Luckily for me, this year I get a little refund versus having to pay. Either way, Turbo Tax is good.
What's great about it: So many things are carried forward from previous year it really helps not to have to retype info
What's not so great: I am sorry but there is no cons with Turbo Tax. I have used for years and it is easy and accurate

Improved over last year

Have used Turbo Tax every year since 2004. And have been pleased every year except 2014 - when I had nothing but freezes and issues with the software. Thankfully those issues were fixed with the version for 2015 and doing my taxes was a breeze.

I had never had to open an account with the email address and password. This was a new feature to me and the customer service person didn't mention that to me. This is my 8th year with turbo tax. This was the most difficult experience that I ever had with the product.
What's not so great: the screen froze up when I was about to efile.
