I have used TurboTax since the early 90's except for one year when I tried a competing tax program, BIG mistake. I have continuity using TurboTax and feel that I have paid the correct amount and my fair share.
What's great about it: Seemed to be quite thorough.
What's not so great: Going back to check entries can be arduous.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Easy to Use, Written in Plain English

Excellent software overall.
What's great about it: Can do Step-by-step OR go to specific forms
What's not so great: During quality check and the end, some potential errors are not clearly explained

Great software for getting your taxes done!

The first 3 years working as an employee, I did all of my taxes on my own, using the IRS instructional manuals, that came in the mail. I filed 3 years worth of taxes in one tax season and recieved 6 refund checks! Since, that time, I was always interested in finding a easier way to do my taxes on my own without having to pay a large fee to do so, TurboTax allows me to do just that! It is the easiest way to do your taxes on your own, by yourself, besides using the IRS instructional manuals to do your taxes, that I know of. I routinely recommend and suggest this software to everybody I know, all my family and all my friends, when tax season comes around, because it saved me a lot of money and it also has made me a lot of money too! TRY IT, you'll absolutely love it, I guarantee it!
What's great about it: The software is so easy to use!

Peace of mind

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years now. Definitely has made tax preparation much less of a chore. I like that it remembers the previous year's information, and guides me through the whole process.
My only complaint is that there is no way I can see to enlarge the text size. It's just a little too small for my older eyes.
What's great about it: Remembers previous year's info; detailed guide

Good Refund

I really like using TurboTax Deluxe it was very clear in helping me handle this years Tax Returns. The only thing that caused any concern was when I had to leave the return to handle something else I would have to go through and return to the files I would have to go through all the screens that I had already completed. Even with this little problem I will still use TurboTax Deluxe as my filling tool.
What's great about it: I had no trouble following the instructions
