great job and very thorough

What's great about it: I like the ability to go back as many times as I need to be sure that I have the correct information
What's not so great: none that I can remember
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Blew the competion away

What's great about it: Very comprehensive and although i initially thought an EV may not qualify for any benefit, it did!
What's not so great: None

Helping out but no significant improvement

Turbo Tax still gives us the best value proposition for our situation. We like to prep our tax filing in our time and turbo tax is pretty straight forward. We usually finish our prep within 48 hrs.
We haven't observed any significant improvements over years (8 years now) and wish we can see the forms side by side with the TT questionnaire especially in the review phase. It's hard to understand the TT corrections when it is out of context. Maybe a link to FAQs and the form/publication would help. Right now we go to google with the question and usually find the answer within 5 clicks. Also we are expats and the algorithm for addresses is US based so we always have a problem for some of the addresses that we have to input especially if it does not have the foreign address option such as dependent care addresses.
What's great about it: TurboTax remains the best value option for us. It does the job.
What's not so great: Limited options US citizens living abroad (foreign add require US state codes; LAFCP); no option to correct w/in forms

15th Year with TurboTax

Painless... Been using it for years. Long ago I used to update my own Lotus Spreadsheet each year... gives you an idea How Long Ago... and started using TurboTax and have Every Year since! I do mine, Mom & Dad's, My Son's, and My Daughter's. Thanks, Great Product! I recommend it to family & friends.
What's great about it: No Worries... Stupid Proof!
What's not so great: Little expensive for State eFile
