2015 report card to U S Gov't.

TT is thorough and complete for my situation on returns (itemized deductions). It walks one through each item to consider --- even has more considerations than I need! There are some items that seem to be redundant, such as, I load in the medicare payments that are withheld from SS but then later it asks if we were insured for the year??? For ACA compliance!
What's great about it: Easy to review item by item & find add'l detail of subject.
What's not so great: Had difficulty reloading last years data. Program is slow to reload after I have partially prepared the return, saved it

2014 Tax Prep Review

I managed to do my 2014 taxes but Turbotax could not upload my 2013 taxes. This took more hours with me trying to figure out how to do this. It's not a 1-2-3 step to get this and I believe it can be enhanced.
What's great about it: The system was able to prepare the 2014 taxes
What's not so great: But it was not able to download the prior year taxes to eliminate a lot of repetative entries

Great Product

This product was very user friendly. It was easy to go from section to section and there were several areas which provided good explanations. I would recommend product.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Nothing

Got more back than i initially thought i would

Overall great product. Makes filing quite easy. I wish there were tabs under deductions so you don't have to press either back or continue as you are trying to review your information.
What's great about it: Easy to use, keeps ya moving through it.
What's not so great: doesn't have direct links to irs guidance publications, doesn't have tabs in deductions making you press back a bunch.

I declined your TAXAUDIT PROTECTION and when I went in to make a change on my grandson's taxes, you put it right back in. I was not starting a new return and then I filed it and it was too late to take it off. You did that to me last year as well, didn't even know I had it so I purposely looked for it this year. You owe me a refund. His taxes are not complicated so no need for audit protection. I am NOT HAPPY. Please contact me at my email listed.

Before using Turbo Tax, my husband would do them by hand and was knowledgeable, but hated the process. Also, we preferred not to have to pay someone to prepare them..
We started using Turbo Tax and I would do them.
Now I'm am widowed and I still do my own with Turbo Tax.
I try to convince other women to try doing their own, when their taxes are reasonably uncomplicated.

What's great about it: With very limited knowledge about taxes, I am able to do my my own quickly and accurately.
What's not so great: You do not have a space for widowed in your Family Life Section.
