First return w/capital gains

Turbo Tax consistently gets easier to use every year. I just think that the state electronic filing fee is a little too much.
What's great about it: I was able to download all my 1099 info directly into my return.
What's not so great: Not letting me know I could file my state return electronicly for free.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

turbo tax feedback again

Have been using turbo tax for several years and each year I feedback that the one improvement to be done is not have to pay for state filing or include it up front so there is not extra paying when filing. This has fallen on deaf ears at turbo tax company.
What's great about it: overall, good with guided path
What's not so great: paying for state filing

Great Software, but expensive

Ive always used Turbo Tax for the ease of it, however, this year I was in a time crunch with filing on time, so I e-filed. The charge for e-filing my state return was exorbitant. Especially for someone who owed taxes. The added expense was a huge bummer.
What's great about it: Very Easy
What's not so great: WAY too expensive to e-file
