I've been using turbotax since stone age....i tried others, but they are not as good as you guys!

What's great about it: easy very easy to move between pages and forms
What's not so great: explanations could be easier, shorted and larger font
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love this BUT...

I love using TurboTax instead of bringing all of this same information to a preparation service. The last time I had my taxes done professionally, I literally sat in the office and read the numbers off of my paperwork while the tax preparer typed the numbers into her computer. I paid several hundred dollars for it, too! I decided that I could enter the information into TurboTax every bit as easily. It's wonderful! However, even though it claims to be updated to reflect the needs of the military, I still cannot file my husband's state taxes (different state than mine) without doing a separate fake federal return for him, separating everything we deduct by the percentage of his income. Once I have done that, the program doesn't let me e-file the return because I am not filing that fake version of the federal return. This is my one wish for TurboTax, that they would figure out how to fully meet the odd tax needs of military families.
What's great about it: Easy guided information entry and automatic calculations
What's not so great: Does not suit military families well enough yet

Good Ride

Will stick with TurboTax. Make e-filing state free also or give buyer 2 choices when they purchase. One with free state tax and one without. Different prices of course.
What's great about it: Like step by step. Don't have to rely on my knowledge base alone.
What's not so great: correcting entries can be a bit difficult specially VA state charitable mileage credit.

payment by credit card

after rejecting my card twice because they told me my security code was wrong, i called Capital was told my credit card was charged twice, now in order to process my credit card so i can submit my taxes i have to resubmit my payment for a third time . total waste of 1 1/2 hours.
What's not so great: would not accept credit card

No Stress, Simple to use, consistent year to year familiarity, with great features to make Tax Time much easier and Safer!
What more can you ask for! Thanks Turbo Tax and I'll be using you for 2016 Tax filing!!
