Turbo Tax is the BEST!!!

Excellent software, I highly recommend it for everyone!!!
What's great about it: Leads you through every step, you can go back to update items. TT is the best I've used it for several years!!!
What's not so great: Have not found any yet!!!

This year sucks

No errors reported in the error check. almost 0 chance of audit. It said I already filed a return using the pin. I used the pin numbers given to me online and my return was rejected twice. I went back to try and find where the error is and everything on my return disappeared. Nothing, zilch. This is pathetic. I may never use turbo tax again.
I may have to start all over and it is now late. This sucks.

great way to do taxes

I have nothing negative to say. the system its easy to follow and easy to complete. It takes longer to go to the store and purchase the program than what it takes to do the taxes. I am 100% happy and please with turbo tax.
What's great about it: self explanatory
What's not so great: you need to utilize your fingers, lol.

Great until near the 'end'

As I tried to submit the electronic filing, I found the 'questions' not to be clear. In many cases, you had 2 or 3 boxes to check and it wasn't clear what was going to happen if I checked any of the boxes. In one case I got in a 'loop' and came back to the same place several times. Finally I 'xed' out, went back in and printed copies for mailing. 98% of the program is great.
What's great about it: Have been using Turbotax for years. Fundamentally a great pgm.
What's not so great: I tried for the first time to file electronically. After 15 minutes of frustration, I gave up.

TurboTax saves me effort each and every year. Bringing forward previous information is very helpful. It also handles the state tax differences smoothly.
What's great about it: The software brings you through everything easily and brings in last year's info.
What's not so great: No cons

Very Good Product

I really like this product and will use it again. Cheaper than going to someone and I like having that control. I have used Turbo Tax for 8 or 9 years. This year was the hardest. I was surprised. A few questions were not clear and didn't give an explanation in parenthesis like Form 2016, Line G Yes, MCC full year/half year, etc. I had to search the Help Menu to understand what these items were. Usually it summarizes the questions that aren't immediately obvious but I had to hunt a little bit.
What's great about it: Guides You, Help Menu, Explains often, Review/Checks are Great
What's not so great: A few times I didn't understand question & it didn't explain
