Best refund in years!

I had a very good experience with Turbo Tax. I've tried other tax software, but Turbo Tax has been the best of all.
What's great about it: Very easy
What's not so great: Can't think of any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year was confusing. I had special circumstances why taxes were underpaid but no space on the form for explanation when E-filing.
What's great about it: Step by step process
What's not so great: Some questions I could not answer and no way to find out where to find answer.

I like the ease of Turbo Tax. It's usually easy to pause (though I suggest not stopping in the middle of a section - one time I did that and couldn't get back; I had to re-start my return). I like that TT walks me through many scenarios (though our taxes are very straight forward).
What's great about it: continuity, imports previous year's taxes and info
What's not so great: 2013 Turbo Tax Deluxe didn't include some forms I needed for my rental property (when previous years versions had)

Good for adding missed data

I thought I had all of my data together when I sat down to my 2015 tax returns on Turbo Tax. But alas after finishing the state return, I found a file of paid credit bills that had deductions--medical and charity--annotated on them.
I then wanted to amend donations and add medical and charity information. I went back to the Federal pages that were relevant and added the data I had found. That instantly carried through to my federal bottom line and my state bottom line adjusting my refund amount and tax due amount.
I've used Turbo Tax to do my taxes since sometime in the 1980s when a program for that came with a new IBM computer that we had bought. I've never had any reason to try another system.
What's great about it: How this year's walked me through the topics
What's not so great: Perhaps too little input on some pages

You have the same items in the premier, and you have it laid out easy enough to take a day to do. In the deluxe it is more difficult to understand and if I had not done 2014 with the premier , I would not have been able to receive a refund. I had to go back and forth to the premier to locate missing information.
What's great about it: I always like the- more info areas they do help to understand all areas.
What's not so great: For the 1099INT you need to have all boxes available to see. It took days to find box4 because it was called unusual

Taxes Done Painlessly!

I have been using TurboTax for many years now. I am a bit old school and like keeping hands on control so it took a lot to convince me to stop calculating my returns by hand!
What a great product, I would never go back to doing this manually, especially the State Return!
Using TurboTax gives me the luxury of extra time to go out and find good use for the maximized refunds once the returns are filed!

What's great about it: Every step of the way you are guided so as to not miss a thing. Even items that are new are explained simply.
What's not so great: At times the search icon turns for a long time; I sit & wait but I could actually continue on
