A very well designed solution to minimize angst

I will only say with great reluctance that I "love" a piece of software, but in my experience it must be said for TurboTax!
What's great about it: Great companion for this white knuckling experience- A friend indeed
What's not so great: Minor problems (failed) to import records from one financial institution

What's great about it: Guides you all the way through and has explanations if needed
What's not so great: Form incorrect and very difficult to correct it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent As Always

I have used Turbo Tax for at least the last 10 years and have never had a problem with the accuracy or the dependability of the secure transmission. Even with being high wage earners it is simple and easy to use and navigate to do your taxes as painless as possible.
What's great about it: Simple, And Easy to Use
What's not so great: None noted unless I didn't need to file taxes

2016 is in the books!

I've been a faithful Turbo Tax user for several years. This year ids the 1st time I had income reported on a 1099-K. The software did not make this process easy!!! :-(
What's great about it: Thorough and helpful walk through approach to Federal and State Filing
What's not so great: Very difficult to enter information for earnings on a 1099-K form

Though I was a day late (because I procrastinated), without Turbo Tax it would have take me a whole week or more to complete the returns--federal and two states--and feel secure that everything was covered. With TurboTax I have the security of knowing that the returns were filed correctly.
What's great about it: Completed complicated return just by answering Turbotax questions--what could be easier than that.
What's not so great: can't think of any.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

No E-filing for Federal ITR Extension?!

Why is the Federal ITR Extension form be printed and mailed - and not E-filed like State? What is wrong with this system? When people are rushing to file their ITR on the last day - this is a pain! I was forced to file my ITR and pay everything with my credit card with all the fees because I do not have the money in the bank. I always thought that TurboTax was better than other software. Been using it for the last 10 years but with this glitch, it is mind-boggling why TT doesn't have this feature? Please amend this portion for the Federal ITR Extension to be able to E-file, otherwise, I may have to switch software.
