Completed and happy!

Wow, another fantastic and successful year of submitting my tax returns using TurboTax! I have been using this program for many years with having my own business, donations to charity and many other categories. I have never had a problem I couldn't find the answer to. The ease of using the step by step approach is so comforting when dealing with taxes year after year. I find that if I need to go back and check or edit it is so easy to do so. I have had my mom assist in looking through the final check to make sure I haven't left anything out and she is extremely pleased with the ease of the program and information she learns from me using it (she uses an accountant and doesn't see all the information asked). I will definitely be using this program for years to come and look forward to "new" deductions and opportunities to save money in the future and assist my mom with questions to ask her accountant!
What's great about it: The ease of going step by step, the itemization breakdown for charity with pricing, the ease of using the product

Not so Sure!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years, but the past few years by level of confidence has really decreased. I no longer feel that I am getting the best refund and I always worry that something is wrong. There have been several simple mistakes in the software the last couple of years. If I can spot them why can't your SQA group detect them?
What's great about it: Transfer of last years files
What's not so great: lack of confidence in calculations and if I am getting the best refund possible.

Quick for my Taxes

It said I had net gain of my house sale but it was a loss. didn't have time to find where it felt my entries caused a gain. Most of info required for returns was straight forward. You should provide a quick list of info to be saved during the year so return could be filed with a minimum of hassle. This list should be geared for less complicated returns.
What's great about it: Handled 2 states - no hassle
What's not so great: didn't like inability to find out why said house sold not loss
Pros: I moved

Need an express filing method

I like Turbo Tax and have been using for a decade, but I missed the deadline by 13 minutes because of all the re-entry of information (that has been entered each prior year) that is required to e-file. There should be a way to enter all e-file information and setup expedited e-filing in the weeks/days leading up to the deadline so that when one is complete with the return the night before it is due, but you don't have to spend 20 minutes running around the house tracking down copies of drivers licenses, entering issue and birth dates and credit card information and checking account information, that should be pre-populated from prior years.
What's great about it: Comprehensive Guided Preparation
What's not so great: Thought I was on time, but missed e-file deadline by a few minutes b/c of all information to input after return complete
