Easy and Fast

Doing my 2015 taxes with Intuit was a breeze. Everything was click and go( just as long as you have all of your information). I have no complaints this time around!
What's great about it: Simple walk thru, Snapshots, User Friendly
What's not so great: I really didnt come across any cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Need more help info

Not all the explanations on the forms are answered. There should be full instructions starting from #1 on for each form. Sometimes more answers are required when asking for help.
What's great about it: Program is good in the since that it walks you through most everything.

I have used TurboTax for many years. I would appreciate more competitive pricing compared to other tax software IE HR Block and Tax Cut ( who have similar customer ratings). Some rebate deals would be appreciated as a loyalty incentive.
What's great about it: Confidence in filing a correct tax return
What's not so great: Had a big problem getting the Home mortgage form to process thru. Software didn't tell me exactly what was wrong

Quality goes down every year

I have been using Turbo Tax for years But I have noticed that each year the usability goes down. The worst this year is the "Smart Check." It is about the dumbest check ever. It identifies errors in a vacuum with no explanation as to how to correct them. Example: the "Principal Business Code." It states it needs to be entered, but there is no hyperlink to the codes to fill it in. Instead, you're supposed to go back to the form and run a search. But see if you can ever find a search button.
After all these years of using Turbo Tax, I'm switching to a competitor's product for 2016.

I've used Turbo for 10 + years. I was some what disappointed last year and then more this year.
What's great about it: Lay out and step by step
What's not so great: The price and no 1 free State efile, help section takes to long to search

What's great about it: The "common language" and clear correlation with the tax documents make it e-z p-z! :)
