What's great about it: was easy and seemed thorough.
What's not so great: would not down load W-2s etc though had access

turbotax to the rescue!

Based on my experience as an experienced tax filer this is the BEST program out there. You will have to read up if you don't understand the terms but anyone can learn if you give yourself a week or so to get up to snuff on what you need to enter.
What's great about it: quick clear instructions esp. if you have prior tax experience
What's not so great: really not as easy to do if you've never done taxes before but if you have time to learn this is the program

2015 Return

I like using the program. It takes me through the steps and gives me the best options and then lets me choose. However, I am not sure that I am getting all of the deductions for my job. I use my personal car for my job which cause my auto insurance premiums to higher than if I did not use the car for work. No where am I given the option to deduct my auto insurance. Has this changed from previous years?
What's great about it: Calculated for me
What's not so great: Not sure I got all the deductions entitled and the state efile fee should be stated before selecting to efile not after.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I’ve been using Turbo Tax for 20 years and it keeps getting better each year. It asks easy questions for some of the most confusing areas of your return. Provides all forms needed for all your tax needs.
What's great about it: Navigation is Easy. Answers and help are just a click away!
What's not so great: None with this version.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years now and with all the IRS changes and exceptions I would be lost without it.
Great job Intuit team. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, and very user friendly.
