Easy As Always!

You already got my money when I bought the software. Why do you have to get it again for e-filing a state return? Everyone has to file a state return. So we should not have to pay extra for that?
What's great about it: As is previous years, easy to use.
What's not so great: Amount of cost for e-filing state return.

Program works well

Overall, the program works. It walks you through the process and you answer the questions. It's quite simple. The navigation is challenging and makes the process take longer than it should.
What's great about it: Detailed info, walks you through everything
What's not so great: Navigation is cumbersome, some questions repetitive

Couldn't efile because healthcare area is wrong!

Healthcare questions are incorrect. There should be an option for a person with dependents to claim one person as having healthcare under Obamacare while the dependents are covered by their other parent under a work place plan. They are still my dependents but their insurance is provided by my ex-spouse. No option to indicate that so everyone had to clumped under Obamacare and the social security numbers did not match the 1095-A form. This prohibited me from filing electronically. No way to get around it.

What's not so great: sale of home and where to adjust basis was confusing. looking for something that mirrored IRS Form 523.

Turbo Tax found new deductions for me. I usually just make sure that I don't owe. I'm sure over the years I have been paying more taxes than needed.
